Following the winery\u2019s tradition, these valleys were selected because their soil and climate conditions allow the grapes to mature at their own pace. Additionally, Block wines are made with grapes from the best block of each selected vineyard, undoubtedly highlighting the importance of this distinguished location, which significantly influences the characteristics of each wine.<\/p><p>The Block portfolio includes five wines. First, <strong>Block #12 Andes Cabernet Sauvignon<\/strong> is a full-bodied, flavorful, and persistent wine. With a deep red color, it has notes of black and red fruits like plum, cassis, and cherry, along with hints of tobacco, cinnamon, and coffee beans.<\/p><p>Next, <strong>Block #9 Andes Cabernet Sauvignon\/Syrah<\/strong> is a blend from the Maipo Valley, aged for 16 months in French and American oak barrels. It is a dark, intense violet color and has notes of dark chocolate and black cherries. On the palate, it has pleasant acidity and elegant, velvety tannins, very characteristic of its terroir.<\/p><p><strong>Block #3 Andes Carmenere<\/strong> comes from Block 3 of the La Moralina estate, located in the foothills of the Andes in the Cachapoal Valley. It is an intense violet-red color, with good acidity and fruity character, a solid structure, and a long finish.<\/p><p><strong>Block #1 Costa Chardonnay<\/strong> is made with grapes from the Bel\u00e9n estate in the Lo Ovalle area of Casablanca. Its harvest is 100% manual, and 40% of it is fermented with its skins to obtain more structure.
