Cabernet Sauvignon
Maule Valley – 2022
The grapes for this wine come from the Maule Valley. There the soils are mainly of alluvial origin, with gravels and a significant clay matrix. The vineyards are trained to the vertical shoot position and pruned according to the double Guyot system. Drip irrigation is essential to control the ripeness of the grapes and the vigor of the vineyard.
TASTING NOTES
Color: purple with ruby shades.
Aroma: it reminds of black fruits, such as maqui and blueberries, and red fruits, like sour cherries and raspberries, with sweet notes of vanilla and fresh tobacco.
Flavor: with a nice structure and medium bodied on the palate, it offers fruity flavors with black chocolate and coffee, and a pleasant persistence.
Food pairing: grilled red meats, game birds, stews, legumes and soups like Chilean cazuela.
Serving temperature: 16 – 18º C.

Carménère
Maule Valley – 2022
The grapes for this wine, harvested towards the end of April and the beginning of May, come from the Maule Valley. There the soils are mainly of alluvial origin, with gravels and a significant clay matrix. The vineyards are trained to the vertical shoot position and pruned according to the double Guyot system. Drip irrigation is essential to control the ripeness of the grapes and the vigor of the vineyard.
TASTING NOTES
Color: purple-red with violet shades.
Aroma: fruits such as blackberries and cherries, in addition to notes of fresh herbs.
Flavor: soft, spicy and fruity, medium bodied, with flavors of red and black berries, such as raspberries and blueberries.
Food pairing: cheeses, pasta, white meats, oily fish and charcuterie.
Serving temperature: 16 – 18º C.

Chardonnay
Maule Valley – 2023
The grapes for this wine come from the sector of Yerbas Buenas, located in the Andean foothills of the Maule Valley. There the soils are of alluvial origin and show a loamy, clayey, and sandy texture, with gravels. The proximity to the Cordillera generates a particular microclimate that allows producing grapes of high aromatic expression and abundant freshness. The harvest is done mechanically, with berry selection, at their exact ripeness point.
TASTING NOTES
Color: bright straw-yellow.
Aroma: of citric character, it shows fruity notes that remind of pears, green apples and fresh pineapple.
Flavor: a fresh, fruity and balanced wine. Medium bodied, creamy and with a good persistence.
Food pairing: it makes an ideal companion to white meats, seafood, and rather oily, intense flavored fish, such as smoked salmon, swordfish and seabass.

Malbec

Merlot
Maule Valley – 2022
The grapes for this wine, harvested as of mid-March until the end of the month, come from the Maule Valley. There the soils are mainly of alluvial origin, show medium fertility and a sandyloam texture. The vineyards are trained to the vertical shoot position and spur pruned. The use of drip irrigation is essential to adequately control the ripeness of the grapes.
TASTING NOTES
Color: violet-red with purple shades.
Aromas: black fruits, such as blackberries and blueberries, with spicy notes of cinnamon and fresh herbs.
Flavor: fruity, juicy, with firm tannins and an attractive combination of vanilla, clove and chocolate. Medium bodied, with fresh acidity and good persistence.
Food pairing: all kinds of pasta, corn pie, soups like Chilean cazuela, lean red meats and white meats.
Serving temperature: 16 – 18º C.

Pinot Noir
Casablanca Valley- 2022
The grapes for this wine come from the vineyards planted in our Belén estate in the Casablanca Valley, whose soils are clayey and sandy. The climate has a strong maritime influence, which grants the valley a cool-climate condition that results in grapes with high aromatic expression and abundant freshness. The vineyard is planted at high density (10,000 plants/h) on the flat sectors of the property, with a north-south orientation and a deviation of 16°, allowing it to capture the sunlight during the cooler hours of the day. The vines are trained to the vertical shoot position and pruned according to the Guyot system.
TASTING NOTES
Color: violet-red with purple shades.
Aroma: fresh red fruits, such as raspberries, with subtle notes of spices, herbs and moist earth.
Flavor: of delicate body, very fresh, balanced and with a good acidity. Its notes of red berries, clove, and black chocolate remain on its soft ending with hints of roasted coffee beans.
Food pairing: aperitives, carpaccio, pasta with light sauces, Asian food.
Serving temperature: 12 – 14º C.

Food pairing: enjoy it as an aperitive or with green salads. It also pairs well with rockfish, pasta and fresh cheeses.
